Mobile Web Browser Users (Special Attention iPad Mobile Web Browser Users): There is a limited free version of FindLotSize.com with current location available to mobile browser users with a slightly different UI. However, the apps above are probably a better choice for you. To use FindLotSize.com on your iPad through a web browser, you must use the Google Chrome browser. Safari will not work. For iPhones, Android phones, iPads, and Android tablets the above apps are going to be a much better user experience for you. If you insist on accessing a limited FindLotSize.com through a mobile browser or with an iPad on Google Chrome, you can only use the free Apple Maps version of FindLotSize.com and there is a slightly different measurement user interface. The paid version of FindLotSize.com is not available through a mobile web browser, only desktop. You must use the Find Lot Size app above to get Google Maps-based Find Lot Size on your mobile device.

To print, you must use your own screen shot/crop utility (Command + Shift + 4 on Mac, Windows Key + Shift + S on Windows).

Instructions:

Click the map while holding the Shift Key to drop a pin. Change a pin's location by clicking and dragging the pin, without holding the Shift Key in that case. Use Clear Markers and Remove Last Marker to make edits. Search for a place with the search bar. Accessing your current location is now available from the free Apple Maps version of Find Lot Size and the plain mobile website findlotsize.com , use the location arrow in the top right corner.

Statement on accuracy:

A careful measurement's error is 1.0% to 3.0% for area and 0.1% to 0.5% for perimeter. This is an Apple Maps system, and the max zoom is not as high as a Google Maps system, thus lower accuracy. These error numbers were found by measuring a NFL football field, like Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH. The regulation length with end zones is 109.728 meters, the width is 48.758 meters, and the area is 5351 square meters, or 1.32 acres.

FAQ

Q: When I try to complete an enclosed perimeter or area shape, I cannot place the last marker near my first marker. How is this done?

A: Drop the marker in a region nearby. Pick up this last-dropped marker by tapping and holding it, then dragging it on top of the first marker you dropped. You will have a near-perfect match-up.

Q: I am using a Macbook with a track pad. When I Shift-Click to set a marker, the marker ends up many pixels away from where I clicked. What is wrong?

A: Your Macbook PRAM may need reset. Follow these official Apple instructions: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac
